Found out later this is called the Ron Swanson because that character is always seen wearing this watch. New versions are not as aesthetically pleasing as the original panda! Unfortunately the US version lacks sapphire crystal and engraved case back but there are places that can replace the crystal with a sapphire one. Yes a bit heavy and a bit large but it never looks overstated or cheap. Extremely well made for a mid-price watch. Overall, an excellent value one watch option for work or travel and slightly dressy. Battery not charging fully but I purchased the battery capacitor replacement. This one happened to be a store demo and in minty condition.
I gifted the first to my son who sheepishly asked about how it wears and he just loves it.
This is my second purchase of this watch.
